PAN F PLUS is erg geschikt voor vergrotingen, aangezien de negatieven typisch een uitstekend toonbereik, hoog randcontrast en extreme scherpte vertonen. Ook wetenschappelijke toepassingen zoals fotomicrografie of de productie van zwart-wit dia's behoren tot de mogelijkheden.
